A History of the Riley Family in Ministry

Levi and Cassie have a long and full history of ministry. In 2002, the young couple married and soon met Jeff and Meadow Piepho. Jeff, the college group leader at Crossroads Church, had invited them to be part of a new Bible study for young adults. Fast forward a couple of years and they, along with 11 other young people, felt the call to start a church geared towards a younger generation. Revolution Church was born!

God quickly placed the Riley's in leadership roles at Revolution. Cassie became the children's ministry director as well as the administrative assistant while Levi's love for music drew him towards worship. Later, Levi was asked to become the youth pastor for Crossroads and Revolution church. As founders of the church, Levi and Cassie each dedicated 7 years to the church board, pastoral ministry, worship and 13 years of discipleship and countless other ministry opportunities.

Cassie was able to do two short term mission trips in Helene and one to the Navajo Reservation with Revolution's original missionary, Denise Conway and Revo's newest missionary, Shaila Emig. Through Revolution short term missions, Cassie fell in love with the Helene people. This love would eventually overflow into her entire family as God gracefully places them on the island together.

As the Riley's grew in maturity in the Lord over the last 15 years, they also grew in numbers. The Riley's are made up of a husband and wife (Levi and Cassie), three boys (Alex 14, Brody 11, and Zac 7) and one girl (Zoe 10). Alex, Brody, and Zoe have all accepted Jesus as their Savior while Zac is still working out his understanding. Alex was baptized at Revolution Church in February of 2017. The children have found great interest in the "set up" ministry, helping at Hebrews (the espresso bar), and even found themselves helping in
the very same children's ministry that led them each to Christ.

In January of 2017, Levi and Cassie felt Jesus call them into the foreign mission field. They have always shared a love of the gospel and have acquired a certain set of skills in mentoring, discipleship, leadership, and evangelizing.  The Riley's are honored to be REVOLUTIONary Missionaries currently in Helene, Honduras.

The entire Riley family is currently on assignment in Helene, Honduras participating in a program call the Discipleship Encounter. To learn more about the D.E. program and Mission Encounters International click on their tab a the top of the blog.
